The purpose of Intense Hockey is to improve YOU, your basic skills and overall knowledge of the game. There will be team play, but the emphasis is on your own individual development and to extend your knowledge of the game through all Intense Hockey levels.

The Foundation Umpires Award - Will require 1 hour study with your tutor - Mon to Wed, on Thursday you will sit the written paper. On Friday you will have a 20 minute practical assessment on your umpiring skills.

Stix Award & The Dutch FMP Test - 2 disciplines per day Mon to Wed will be actively worked on. All the component parts within those skills will be broken down and developed, giving the student every opportunity to perfect each element and bring it back together for the final skill. Thursday will be test stage 1 where everyone will take each skill and record their score. Friday will be test stage 2 - a second bite to improve your individual score. Your final scores will then be sent to England Hockey and the International FMP Skill Test Standard. Your awards will follow later.
